Welcome to our holiday home, 29 The Tides, a stone's throw from the 14-km white sandy blue-flag beach of Struisbaai. Our home is in a small complex reminiscent of a little Greek island-style village. The complex encloses a garden with a pool which is ideal for families with kids. Our apartment is nearest the gate to the beach which is a 5-minute walk away. 

Struisbaai beach is a long beautiful strip which is ideal for swimming, sunbathing, building sandcastles and lovely long walks. If you are up early and the tide is out, you will see many people digging for bait on the beach. Fishers also love casting off along the beach. When the wind is up you will see the kite-surfers billowing about. Some surfers and boogie boarders frolic in the waves of the in-coming tide. 

Our holiday home is ideal for 4 adults and two kids. There are 2 rooms with queen-size beds and a separate sleeping area for kids. The main bedroom is en-suite with a shower and a bath. The second bathroom also has a shower and bath. The sleeping quarters and bathrooms are on the first floor. On the ground floor, there is an open-plan lounge, dining area and kitchen. A garage is attached to the kitchen. The lounge leads out onto a patio with your own outdoor braai (barbecue) area with a view of the garden and pool so you can sit outside and watch the little ones playing in the garden. There is a private roof terrace which also has another braai and is perfect for sunbathing on a hot summer's day. 

The apartment has unlimited fibre internet with battery backup and two smart TVs which makes it perfect for both entertainment and also remote working.
